The SX stainless steel enclosure range is built for hazardous and corrosive environments. It is designed for offshore, petrochemical and industrial applications. Each unit is made from marine grade 316L stainless steel with stainless steel fixings, to resist weather, moisture and chemical exposure. The range has IP66/67/68 and Type 4X ratings and IK10 impact resistance, which protect the contents from dust, water ingress and impact. The range has also passed the DTS-01 deluge test.

The SX series has integrated mounting straps and an oversized hinge. The hinge allows easy door removal in confined spaces with less than 10° opening. The hinge and captive screw design limit gasket over-compression, which helps maintain the seal. Standard internal and external earth studs provide earthing and electrical continuity. Gland plates are removable, and MCT integration and custom sizes are available. The enclosure can also be fitted with fibre optic cassettes, proximitors and bulkhead connectors for hazardous area system installations.
