General specifications
The Series C of digital panel meters offers versatility and reliability in common industrial applications, providing a single unit capable of covering a wide range of analog signal applications, including AC and DC currents, AC and DC voltages, thermocouples, RTD (Pt and Ni), NTCs, process signals, and resistances.
Series C achieves a reduced price primarily due to reduced technical specifications (accuracy and response time), compared to upper-grade series like Series M. However, it still offers approximately 0.2% FS accuracy and 3 acquisitions per second.
Series C also has limited compatibility for output and control options compared to Series M but can still feature 1 or 2 relay outputs, 1 analog 4/20mA output, or 1 serial RS-485 ASCII output. All circuits are isolated.
Series C benefits from scale economy, utilizing high-quality components, power supplies, housings, and quality procedures from the higher-grade Series M.
The Series C internal architecture features a modular design, providing field-upgradable option cards to expand functionality as needed.
In short, Series C is the recommended series for OEM companies due to its reduced price and wide range of accepted signals. It offers a compact, technically reliable solution that adapts to a wide range of needs in the industrial automation field.
