Transtech has designed and manufactured a solid state fail-to-safe module to monitor the supply to electric brake motors, replacing the field mounted micro switch with all it’s setup issues. The PTD-BRK series offers fully isolated I/O and offers a “window” feature meaning it detects BOTH
short circuit and open circuit cables.
The PTD-BRK module can be retro fitted because it is usually mounted in the starter console of the MCC.
